Olivia "Lib" (Yeomans) Shipp

Olivia Yeomans "Lib" Shipp, 66, of Harkers Island, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
Lib was a lifetime member of Harkers Island United Methodist Church. She served as bookkeeper for the Carteret County Clerk of Court for over 25 years.
She loved her family, church and her island home. She enjoyed Cape Lookout, reading, shopping and traveling. Lib had many friends across the Country.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Harkers Island United Methodist Church with Rev. Brad Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Shipp of the home; daughter, Ashlyn Willis Halstead and husband Mark of Harkers Island; son, Brandon Willis of Harkers Island; grandson, Christopher of Harkers Island; step-daughter, Lisa Shipp Register of Wilmington; and step-grandchildren, Lindsay, Krystina, Cory and Cameron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Clara Yeomans.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday at the church.
