Oleta "Pete" Griffin Bunch

Oleta “Pete” Griffin Bunch, 93, of Newport, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Croatan Nursing and Rehab Center.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Newport, officiated by Rev. Mitchell Parker. Burial will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery.
Oleta is survived by her daughters, Connie Willis and husband, Leon of Newport, Terry Garner and husband, Clayton of Newport; sons, Sherman Griffin and wife, Barbara of Beaufort, Chuck Griffin and wife, Cathy of Mocksville, Randy Griffin of Greensboro; sister, Hilda Hill of Fayetteville; brothers, Bill Pollock of Newport, Harrold Pollock of Newport, Arthur Pollock of Newport, Mann Pollock, Jr. of Jamestown, NY; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Bunch; parents Mann A. Pollock and Jessie Mae Waters Pollock.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Newport.
