Okla Taylor

Okla Florence Norris Taylor, 103 of Bogue went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Brookdale Nursing Facility in Greenville, NC.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Pastor Tim Nichols officiating. A private burial will be held prior to the service at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Okla was born July 12, 1912. She was a lifetime member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, where she served the Lord with gladness and sang in the choir for many years. Prior to her passing, she was the oldest living member of the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Guion Taylor, parents, six brothers and infant sister.
Surviving Mrs. Okla are her daughters, Marsha Watson of Fredericksburg, VA and Judy Darden and husband Carl of Greenville, NC, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
