Nellie Mae Garner, 82, of Beaufort, died Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Harborview Health Center.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Pollock officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Delmose Garner of the home :daughter Laura Long and husband Mike of Beaufort: four sons Donald Garner and wife June of Beaufort, Doug Garner and wife Shelley of Harkers Island, Dennis Garner and wife Gay of Beaufort, and Durwood Garner and wife Wendy of Otway: nine grandchildren Michael Long, Chris Long, Gayle Garner, Taylor Garner, Alyssa Garner, Dustin Garner, Donald Garner, Robyn Garner, and Hannah Garner: one great grandchild Sophia Mae Wilson: a sister Susie Jones of Wallace: and a brother Jesse Harrell of Wallace.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
