Nathan Brant Robinett, 27, of Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at his home.
His graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 12th, at Amariah Garner Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 12th from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
He was born on December 11, 1994, at Camp Lejeune, to Charles and Bethanie Robinett. Nathan grew up in Carteret County, graduating from West Carteret High School in 2013. He excelled in everything that he decided to do. Nathan graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2018, with a bachelor's degree Exercise and Sports Science with a focus in Sports Administration, and a minor in coaching. He also received a master's degree in Kinesiology with a focus in sports management policy from the University of Georgia in 2020.
Nathan had a love for coaching football and basketball in Newport. He was nothing short of an inspiration to all who knew him. His positive attitude was infectious and was always teaching others to never give up. In his down time, he loved to fish, joke around with friends and family, and watch whatever sport was available. Nathan loved all animals, but especially his black lab, Chief. Nathan left a lasting impression on everyone and was deeply loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but, he will live on in our memory.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Bethanie Ratliff (Hagan) of Newport; father, Charles Robinett (Kim) of Georgia; brother, Nicholas Robinett (Mary) of Ohio; niece, Amelia Robinett; nephew, Charles Robinett; paternal grandparents, Charlotte and Harry Robinett; maternal grandparents, Jackie and Ed Smith and William Pack; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins; and his extended family, the Eadies.
