Nathan Gillikin

Nathan Gillikin, 84, of Morehead City, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at St. Peter's United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Castle and Rev. Dorsey Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mr. Gillikin was a member of VFW Post #8986 in Newport, the American Legion, Ocean Lodge # 405, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He is survived by two sons, Dan Thomas Gillikin and Robert Allen Gillikin both of Morehead City; two grandsons, Nathan Daniel Gillikin and Aaron Gillikin both of Morehead City; and great-granddaughter, Julie Lakay Gillikin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Carolyn Gillikin.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home.
