Nannie Mae Moore left her family on February 29, 2012 to join her extended family in heaven.
Nannie was born on January 5, 1920 to Charles Masters and Ervie Mann Masters Gray. She was 92 years old. Nannie was raised by her grandfather David Mann and lived in the home he built and left her for her entire 92 years. Nannie was married for 25 years to Frank Jacob Moore who preceded her in death in 1963.
She left behind a large extended family consisting of seven children: Betty Pedersen and husband Kenneth, Clara Turnage and husband Henry and late husband Robert Hunter, Alma Smith and late husband Marion, David Moore and wife Sandra, Mitchell Moore and wife Rosa, Donna DiPietrantonio and husband Joseph, and Sandra Bulkley and husband William: sixteen grandchildren: 23 great grandchildren: and two great great grandchildren.
Nannie was also preceded in death by four brothers Charles Masters, Kenneth Masters, James Masters, and Frank Masters, and one sister Erma Nelson.
Nannie was a faithful and supportive member of the Newport Church of God for 50 years.
Her family loved her dearly and will cherish our time with her for the rest of our lives. The family is requesting that her friends and aquaintances join us to celebrate her life and though with sadness in our hearts; see her off to heaven to be with those who have gone on before her.
Her service will be 11:00 am Saturday at Newport Church of God. Internment to follow at Cedar Grove.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
