Myra Lawrence, 74, of Otway, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Harkers Island United Methodist Church with Rev. Brad Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Piner Family Cemetery.
Ms. Lawrence was a member of Harkers Island United Methodist Church and retired from civil service at Cherry Point.
She is survived by her daughter, Holly Lawrence and husband Ray Smith of Newport; granddaughter, Myra Smith; numerous nieces and nephews, and several beloved animals.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
