Msgt. Paul Landi, USMC, Ret.

MSgt. Paul Landi,USMC, Ret., 83, of Havelock, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Amariah Garner Cemetery with military honors and masonic rites.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 22 years, a lifetime member of the VFW, a 32 Degree Mason, and Shriner Sudan Temple. After he retired from the Marine Corps he was the owner of Carolina Cab Company in Havelock.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lillie Landi of the home; two sons, Malcom "Tony" Landi of Martinsville, VA and Paul Richard Landi of Lower Burrell, PA; daughters, Linda Landi Shearer of Lower Burrell, PA and Denise Landi Smith of Havelock; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Landi Clearwater.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home.
