Minnie Evelyn (Hamilton) Willis

Minnie Evelyn Willis, 86, of Harkers Island, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Grace Holiness Church with Rev. Curtis Going officiating. Interment will follow at Vergie Mae Cemetery.
Minnie is survived by three daughters Patricia Guthrie of Harkers Island, Judy Garland Simmons of Newport, and Debra Kay Rose of Harkers Island; a son Robert M. Taylor of Gloucester; a step son Wayne Willis of Otway; a sister Grace Willis of Harkers Island; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Billie and Agnes Hamilton, her first husband Harvey Taylor, Jr. and second husband Walter Collins Willis.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the church.
