Mildred Louise (Knause) Shewell

Mildred Louise Shewell, 83, of Otway, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
Mildred was employed as a Deburrer with Pennfield Precision. She was a gifted artist, enjoyed fishing, and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves.
She is survived by five children Christine L. Alm of Florence, AL, Norine S. Moreland of Davis, NC, Catherine M. Shewell of Stacy, NC, Richard D. Shewell, Jr., of Pennsburg, PA, and James C. Shewell of Florence, AL: niece Debra Knause:14 grandchildren : 18 great grandchildren : 2 great great grandchildren: and "Rascal" her cat.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Donald Shewell, a brother Charles Knause Jr and her parents Charles and Sadie Catherine Knause.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale St. Memphis, TN 38105.
