Mildred "Joyce" (Garner) Lewis

Mildred "Joyce" Garner Lewis, 89, of Havelock, died Saturday, December 8, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at St. James United Methodist Church in Newport with Rev. Thomas Supplee officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of St. James United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Kirwan and husband Steve of Morehead City; two sons, Thomas Lewis and wife Sonya of Newport and Robert Shawn Lewis of Havelock; sister, Brenda Smith and husband Jackie of Selma; brother, Howard Garner and wife Peggy of Newport; also six grandchildren, Scott Wisneski, Jonathan Lewis, Eric Kirwan, Michael Kirwan, Joshua Lewis and MollyBeth Lewis, three great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home.
