Michelle Dianne Thorsell Schwarz, 47, of Newport, passed away Sunday, October 28­, 2018, at her home.

Michelle was a quiet and loving caregiver. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed. Michelle enjoyed working in the yard and raising her son Paul.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Glenn Schwarz and loving son, Paul Schwarz, of the home; sisters, Christine Thorsell and husband, Kevin Gaydosh, of Norfolk, VA and Loretta Marcum and husband, Oscar, of Chesapeake, VA; mother-in-law, Katherine Schwarz and father-in-law, Paul Schwarz of Virginia Beach, VA; brothers-in-law, Larry Best, Geoffrey Schwarz and Edward Schwarz; nieces, Krystle (Best) Childress,  Stephanie Best; nephew, Brandon Marcum; neighbors and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carrie Thorsell formerly of Virginia Beach, VA.
