Michelle Salter, 46, of Broad Creek passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her home.
The family and church will conduct a memorial service 2:00 pm Monday, February 15, 2015 at Broad Creek Church of God with Pastor Robbie Strickland officiating.
Michelle was born and raised in Carteret County.
She is survived her father, Fred DeFeo and wife Darlene of New Bern; one daughter, Donya Salter of Newport; and son, Brian Salter, Jr., and wife Hannah of Havelock; three brothers, Frederick Shawn DeFeo of West Virginia, Courtney Salter and Joshua Salter both of Broad Creek; also step father, Johnny Salter of Broad Creek.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Yvonne Williams Salter; and sister, Teresea Greek; and grandmother, Dora Bell Williams.
