Michael "Mike" McIlnay

Michael “Mike” McIlnay, 38 years old, joined our Lord on Sunday, February 6th of 2022.

His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2022, at Munden Funeral Home in Havelock.

Michael was born on June 30th, 1983, in New Bern, North Carolina to his loving and caring mother, Linda McIlnay. Michael was proud of the work he put into his business, Mac’s Landscaping Maintenance & Design as an arborist and landscaping gardener. He also diligently worked for and alongside Ken at NC Lead LLC for nearly 12 years. In his free time, Michael enjoyed tinkering with anything that had an engine. The bigger the better of course. He also enjoyed helping others in all ways that he was able to.

For those he is no longer with that will cherish his memories are as follows, his mother, Linda McIlnay of the home. The mother of two of his children and spouse, Rhiannon McIlnay. His daughters, Sarah McIlnay of the home, Marie McIlnay of the home, Keounia Cobb of Havelock, those he was a father figure to. Longtime friend, Christina Laceby, as well as many, many other dear friends and relatives.
