Michael T. Welch

Michael T.Welch, 48, of Morehead City, NC  died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at UNC Hospital at Chapel Hill.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Monday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Seate officiating.

Michael was a member of the First United Methodist Church and also, SASS.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Welch of the home; parents, Clarence "Tubby" and Beatrice Welch of Morehead City; sister, Bambi Earl and husband, David of Lovettsville, VA; nephew, McKay Marcum; and niece, Ciara Marcum.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Michael T. Welch to the First United Methodist Church, 900 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557 or the Carteret County Humane Society Inc., PO Box 357, Newport, NC 28570.
