Michael Vincent Russell, 14, of Morehead City, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at Carteret General Hospital.
Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Beaufort with Rev. Richard Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Carteret Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his mother, Denise Winn Russell of the home; father and step-mother, Vince and Gina Russell of Bettie; step-brother, Justin Mitchell of Otway; paternal grandparents, Jenny and Charles Russell of Harkers Island; maternal grandfather, Don Winn of Morehead City;grandparents, Billy and Sheron Mason of Beaufort; aunt and uncle, Doug and Tonya Winn of Beaufort; cousins, Aaron Winn and Devan Winn, both of Beaufort; aunt, Erica Willis and cousins, Zeth Willis and Drake Willis, all of Harkers Island and his beloved dog, Chewie.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Beaufort.
