Michael Paige, 57, of New Bern, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry McInnis officiating.
Mr. Paige served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved all aspects of aviation especially during World War II, and he loved hunting and collecting antique firearms. His greatest love of all was for his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeana Paige of the home; two sons, Christopher Paige of Elk Grove, CA and Adam Paige of Havelock; three grandchildren, Hannah Paige, Lorelai Paige, and Samuel Paige; four sisters, Bona Joy Saalfeld of Kentucky, Angela Saylor of Ohio, Rhonda McGrath of Kentucky,and Ann Broxterman of Ohio; four brothers, Jeffrey Miller of California, David Broxterman of Kentucky, Mike Broxterman and Tom Broxterman both of Ohio; stepfather, Coolie Miller of Ohio; and uncle, Butch Hill of Kentucky.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
