Michael Blaine Hans, 59, of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina went to heaven on September 22, 2014.
Michael was born May 4, 1955. He spent his childhood in Harford County, Maryland to surviving father Blaine H Hans (Buddy) and the late Mary Lou Hans both of Bel Air, Maryland. Mike married Pamela Carpenter Monaghan in February of 2008 who is his soul mate and confidant. They lived together in West Virginia before relocating to Atlantic Beach, North Carolina.
In addition to his wife Pam, Mike is survived by two sons, Michael Blaine Hans Jr. and wife Kim of Beckley, WV; Jeremiah Langdon Hans of Westernport, Maryland. Stepdaughter, Colleen Monaghan Rochelle and her son William Rochelle; Stepson Michael Reilly Monaghan and his wife Shannon Monaghan and their two children Madison and Parker. Stepson Tyler Moore of Westernport, Md. Also surviving is Mike’s sister Kathleen Hans Poole of Burlington, WV. And niece Elizabeth Poole Stevenson (Beth) and husband Andrew J. Stevenson; and their children Dante Michael Stevenson and Lola Marie Stevenson.
Mike was employed at A Place At The Beach as a maintenance technician, he enjoyed his job and adored his coworkers who were also his friends. His hobbies included Photography, mechanics, woodworking and always helping the neighbors. He was also a music buff and had a expansive collection including everything from oldies to country and rock.
