Michael Cleveland

Michael Cleveland, 60, of Newport, NC passed away Friday, July 1, 2011.

A private service will be held at a later date in Alabama.

Mr. Cleveland retired from the Navy and began his Civil Service career at Pensacola Naval Air Station and then retired from Cherry Point as an Aircraft Metalsmith in January, 2007.

He is survived by his daughter, Tara Cleveland of Gulf Shores, AL; sisters, Monica Lynn Odom of Fairview, AL, Shannon Cleveland Smith of Saraland, AL and Diana Bible Aronhalt of Hiram, GA; brother, Charles Henry Cleveland of Birmingham, AL; mother, Mary Scanlan Cleveland; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that were very special to him.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Marvin Leroy Cleveland and Mary Lambert Cleveland and brother, James Randall Bible.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the ones' choice.
