Mervin Fulcher, 85 , of Bettie, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at his home.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Woodville Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Blevins and Rev. Terry McInnis officiating. Interment will follow at the Arthur Family Cemetery.
He worked at Lloyd A. Fry Roofing, retired from civil service at Cherry Point, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member and Deacon at Woodville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Windley Fulcher of the home; daughter, Sandra Walton and husband Kermeth of Bettie; son, Mervin Craig Fulcher and wife Gay of Bettie; four grandchildren, Ryan Radford, Tiffany Radford, C.J. Fulcher, and Jennifer Fulcher; step-grandson, Jonathan Willis; great-grandson, Hunter Fulcher; two sisters-in-law, Letha Lewis and Sylvia Fulcher; also three nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mamie Fulcher, sister, Georgia Arthur, and brother, Graham Fulcher.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
