Melva Lynch King

Mrs. Melva Lynch King, 95, of Beaufort, NC died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Harborview Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2011 at The Old Burying Ground in Beaufort with Rev. Eric Lindblade officiating.

Mrs. King was born in Smyrna on July 6, 1915 to the late Jack and Junie Willis Lynch. She married the late Frank King in 1940 and resided in Beaufort from then until her death.

She is survived by two nephews, Barry D. Daniels of Hollywood, FL and Leslie A. Daniels, Jr., of Williston, NC; niece, Sherrie Daniels; great-nephew, Jamie Daniels; great-niece Karen Daniels; and great-nephew, Leslie F. Daniels, all of Hollywood, FL.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifton Lynch, Harry Lynch and Cecil Lynch and sister, Doris L. Daniels.
