Maurice Reed Willis, 75, of Harkers Island, died Tuesday March 27, at Carolina East Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Grace Holiness Church, with the Pastor, Rev. Curtis Going officiating and comments from Rev. Jack Bowen. Interment will follow at Nelson Bay Cemetery.
Maurice was a member of Grace Holiness Church of Harkers Island, and a commercial fisherman.
He is survived by sisters Eleanor Joyce Kamplain and husband Gene of Gloucester, and Nina Guthrie and husband Ted of Harkers Island: brothers Robert Paul Willis and wife Ann of Harkers Island, and Elton Byron Willis and wife Audrey of Harkers Island: several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elton and Elnora Willis, and wife Alma Salter Willis.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday at Grace Holiness Church.
