Maude Lewis

Maude Clements Lewis, 95, of Newport, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Carteret General Hospital.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Dedicated Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky and attended United Pentecostal Church in Morehead City.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Bowling Green Gardens in Bowling Green, KY.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Sutherland of Bowling Green, KY, Virginia Deininger of Newport, and Mary Elizabeth Whitaker of Bowling Green, KY; three sons, Henry Clements and Herbert Clements both of Newport, and Mitchell Whitaker of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Vera Mae Taylor of Winston Salem; two brothers, Wilber Taylor and Horace Taylor both of Kinston; also 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity or church of one's choice.
