Matthew James Bailey, 53, of Havelock, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at his home.
A graveside service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery.
Matthew was a Retired Army Officer, and had been awarded three Bronze Stars during his military career, he was most proud of being an Airborne Jump Master.
He is survived by his wife Inez Lopez Bailey of the home; daughters Brittney Nicole Bailey of Saginaw, MI and Linda Nicole Monreal of Havelock, NC; sons Jeremy Bailey of Saginaw, MI and Christopher Bailey of Saginaw, MI; mother Constance Bailey of Saginaw Michigan; sisters Susan Alfano of Orlando, FL, and Dr. Constance Braun of Freeland, MI; and one grandchild Peyton Nicole Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Bailey, a sister Cathy Stevens, a brother Mike Bailey and a son Nathan Heider.
