Mary “Donna” Everett Robb, 72, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington.
Donna was born on June 22, 1951, in Maryville, Tennessee, to the late Donald and Dean Everett. She was something of a traveler and lived in many locales. During her life, she lived in Washington, D.C.; San Diego, California; San Francisco, California; Belhaven, North Carolina; Jacksonville, North Carolina; and Greensboro, North Carolina; before finally returning to Beaufort, South Carolina. Her favorite place was San Diego, where she lived on a sailboat, was on a rowing team, and of course the beautiful weather.
Donna attended The Massey School of Business and earned a degree in business administration. She worked as a secretary and an administrative assistant for over 45 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed needlepoint, tennis and in her younger years, running. Donna was full of life and had a smile that could light up a room. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her granddaughter, Hattie Baker of Jacksonville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Johnnie Everett; cousin, Sandra Duncan; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Robb Baker; brothers, Gary Everett, Mike Everett, and Rick Everett.
