Maryann L. Wurm

MaryAnn Lucille Wurm, 81, of New Bern, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Interment and memorial service to follow at a later date in Minnesota.

MaryAnn was born in Chengwatana (Pine County) Minnesota.

She is survived by her children, Helen Hutchins of Norman, OK, Christopher Wurm of Pine City, MN, Elizabeth Wurm of Havelock, NC, Anne Groe of Havelock, NC, Stephanie VonAllmen (Jake) of Cabool, MO and Gregory Wurm (Lisa) of Bloomington, MN; sisters, Phyllis Falk (Bruce) of Braham, MN, Nancy  Stevens (Skip) of Rush City, MN, Sandra Holmberg (Marlen) of Rush City, MN, and Sally Valoda (Vern) of Pine City, MN; brother, Paul Janssen of Pine City, MN; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Frazier of NC and  Makayla and Jachiah Wurm of MN; 6 great-grandchildren, Michael, TaySean, Travion, Neveyah, Damari and Gabriel; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eilert P. and Lucille Janssen; sister, Kathy Janssen, and her son, Alan M. Wurm.

Instead of flowers, donations can be made for MaryAnn’s Interment and Memorial Service in care of Munden Funeral Home at 2112 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC 28557.
