Maryann Carter

Maryann Carter, 83, of Morehead City, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, at her home.

She had an abounding love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked for 33 years as a sewing machine operator at Ford Motor Company. She loved playing baseball and bowling.

Maryann is survived by her daughter, Kelley Montford of Morehead City; son, Mark Theodor Carter of Michigan; brother, Thomas Phillips of Michigan; grandchildren, Aryanna Carter, Madison Carter; great-grandchildren, Amani Carter and Victor Pavia VI; and nephew, Tommy T. Phillips of Royal Oak, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Arnold and Annette Denal Phillips; and eight siblings.
