Mary Lou Stollings

Mary Lou "Lou Lou" Stollings, age 75, of Newport, NC went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Carteret Health Care, surrounded by her sisters and family.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 14, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. James Chadwick. The family will receive friends an hour prior.

Mary Lou was born August 3rd, 1946, to the late Buster Mark and Anna Marie Stollings in Sharpless, West Virginia.

Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Jo and Billy Ray Stollings; sisters, Margaret Cunningham, Helen Keffer, Elizabeth Webb, and Rebecca Milam.

Lou Lou was a special sister and a blessing to the entire family. She enjoyed laughing and clapping to gospel music surrounded by family. She enjoyed collecting baby dolls, pennies and bibles to display in her room. Lou Lou's smile was infectious to all those she came into contact with. She will always be loved and missed by all the lives she touched.

Mary Lou is survived by her sisters, Della Jean Handlon and Carol Whitsit, of Indianapolis, IN, along with multiple nieces, nephews and extended family.
