Mary Taylor Hunter, 73, of Newport, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Carolina East Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Vince Arnold Capt. CHC USN Ret., Rev. Jeff Daughtry, and Rev. John Hill Jr.. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
She is survived by five children, Roy Russell, Teresa Arnold, Wanda Daughtry, Barbara Triplett, and Fredrick Hunter, II; three sibilings, Dolly Rizzo, Jerry Taylor, and June Page; eleven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Hunter, and parents Harry and EstelleTaylor.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
