Mary Gray

Mary Gray, 87, of Morehead City, departed from this earth Sun day, April 11th, to join her heavenly Father.

Mary's happiest years were spent with her friends and neighbors at Camellia Court in Morehead City. She was a master at crocheting beautiful spreads, afghans and tablecloths. She enjoyed visiting and talking to "old time" friends. She loved cooking cakes and goodies and sharing them. Mary's best gift, however, was the gift of love. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.

Mary will surely be missed. She loved her family and was so proud of all of their accomplishments. She loved being with people. Her spirit will forever live on in the lives of the people who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Newport Baptist Church in Newport., Interment will follow in Amariah Garner Cemetery.

She leaves behind three daughters, Rochelle Temple of Harlowe, Merice Stevenson of Norfolk, VA and Gaynelle Wood of Washington, DC and their respective husbands, Cary, Bob and Jim four grandchildren, Shawn Temple of Miami, FL, Michael Temple of Harlowe, Andrea Wood of MN,
