Mary Elizabeth Gillikin, 57, of Beaufort, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Manley Rose officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at Cedar Island Community Cemetery.
She was a great woman who was always helping her family and others in need and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Ezzerd " Charles" Brewington of the home; two children, Christopher "Scotty" Styron of Straits and Crystal Guthrie of the home; two grandchildren, Damien O'Brian Guthrie and Makayla Nicole Guthrie; brother, Clyde Styron and wife Carolyn of Cedar Island; niece, Heather Styron of Morehead City; and great niece, Jacy Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Eric and Mary Irene Daniels Styron.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home.
