Mary Ella Fairbank Doyle, 51, of Morehead City, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Doyle, Jr. of Morehead City; son, Troy Lee Fairbank and his wife Abby of Raleigh; two daughters, Christina Dukes Fulcher and husband Chandler of Newport and Jennifer Dukes Howard and husband Brandon of Kenly; two step-sons, John E. Doyle, III of Morehead City Jeremiah Doyle of Morehead City; brother, Charles Henry Fairbank of Myrtle Beach, SC; and four grandchildren, Cydney Ella Fulcher, Trinity Brie Howard, Sierra Isabella Howard, and Karson Alixzander Howard.
Mrs. Doyle was a member of BPO Elks Lodge # 1710, Morehead City-Beaufort, and auxiliary member of the Crumpton Maryland Fire Department. She was a past “active” member of the West Carteret High School Band Boosters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Oline Fairbank.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at St. Peters United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Stallsworth and Rev. Rawlings Barnes.
Mary would like all attending the service to wear Purple or Pink and make it casual.
