Mary Rose (Edwards) Bell

Mary Rose Bell, 87, of Havelock, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2017.

There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Cherry Point Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife, married to her husband Rad Bell for 52 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father Elisha Edwards and mother Rosa Edwards.

Mary was a devoted Christian and long time member of the Cherry Point Baptist Church.  She had a deep love for children and served in the church nursery for many years.  She was a talented seamstress and sewed lovely things for her children, grandchildren and friends.  She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Michael Bell and wife Maria of Spokane Washington, Richard Alan Bell and wife Pam of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Kristal Barbee and husband Damian; Stephen Bell, Kadie Sata and husband Doug, Andrew Bell and wife Amanda, Mark Bell and wife Katelyn, Kimberly Bonsen and husband Corey, Tom Snell and wife Kaila, Tim Snell and wife Jennifer; great grandchildren, Elsie Sata, Keiichiro Sata, Carina Bell, Thomas Bell, Kaia Snell, Kendall Snell and Maile Bonsen.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

A private burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
