Mary Elizabeth Armstrong

Mary Elizabeth Armstrong "Aunt Mary", 92, of Havelock, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
A Mass of Christian burial was held 10:00 am Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Father Gene Grabowski presiding.
She was a long time Havelock resident and retired from Cherry Point.
She is survived by nieces, Susan Estes Marsh and husband Doug and son Joseph of SC,Mary Estes Arnold and husband David and sons Nathan & Matthew of SC, and Mindora Fields and husband Tommy and sons, Little Tom, Allan and Chuckie ; nephews, James Edward Estes, Jr. and daughter Jenny and son Zack of SC, William Joseph Kornahrens and wife Susan, and special great nephew, Reb Kornahrens, Jr. of Havelock, NC.; three great nephews, John, Victor and David; and two great nieces Virginia and Lucille.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Woodrow Armstrong; brother,James Edward Estes;and great niece, Little Rosie.
Today we bid a love one good-bye with heavy hearts. But our sorrow is not without Hope and even Joy because we know that Aunt Mary has journeyed to a Home where God is and where God dwells forever. Amen.

She was "Aunt Mary" to everyone and will be dearly missed.
