Martin E. Crandall, 68, of Havelock, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.

Martin was born on September 19, 1952, in Norwich, NY. He served honorably in the US Navy and following his time there he was a truck driver for over 20 years. Martin continued his career with the same company by working his way up to being an IT tech and accountant.

Aside from his hardworking nature, he served his God with all his heart and loved his family immensely. He was married to his wife for 34 years and will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and uncle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Candace Crandall of the home; son, Martin Eugene Crandall II of Syracuse, NY; sister, Robin Brewer of Wahpeton, ND; and his favorite furry companions, Shasho:wenne, Squirt, and Shadow.

Martin was preceded in death by his father, Roy Eugene Crandall; mother, Adelia Crandall, and his rainbow kitty Midnight.
