Marsha Barrett Roberts

Marsha Barrett Roberts, 64, of Morehead City, passed away Monday, August 6­, 2018, at Carteret Health Care.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018, at Liberty Church in Havelock, officiated by Dr. Carl Vincent. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.

Marsha was the Co-Pastor at Liberty Christian Church where she served for 30 years. During her time there she served in the following capacities: Executive Pastor, Children’s Pastor, Worship Pastor, Youth Pastor, Ladies Pastor and Christian School Administrator. Her greatest loves were Jesus, her family, her church and her 2 Yorkies, Sunshine and Romeo.

She is survived by her husband, Pastor Tom Roberts of the home; son, Bryan Roberts of Ft. Worth, TX;  daughters, Jennifer Duxbury and husband, Matt, of Calgary, Canada; Kelly Allsopp and husband, Jimmy, of Newport, NC; and grandchildren: Michael Roberts, Sydney Roberts, Barrett Duxbury, Caleb Duxbury, Madison Duxbury, Meagan Allsopp and Mikayla Allsopp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nell Barrett; sister and brother.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018, at Liberty Christian Church in Havelock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be earmarked Children’s Ministry at Liberty Church at 81 Shepard St, Havelock, NC 28532.
