Marsha Jane Oglesby

Marsha Jane Oglesby, 83, of Mill Creek, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Bayview Cemetery in Mill Creek, officiated by Rev. Russell Bell.

Marsha was born on November 15, 1937, in Detroit Michigan, to the late James Marvin Dail and Viola Dail. She was a longtime member of Reece’s Chapel Baptist Church in Mill Creek where she had many happy memories with her church family. Her kind and compassionate way were endearing to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and mother-in-law.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Dixon and husband Phillip, and Anna Oglesby, all of Mill Creek, and Mae Jones and husband Larry of Newport; brother, William Dail and wife Wendy of Newport; grandchildren, Kyle Caldabaugh, Bethenia Dixon, Tammy Lewis, April Gonzalez, Meghan Jones, and Brandon Jones; and great grandchildren, Carlita Long, Alisa Harris, Kayana Lewis, Mahayla Lewis, Philena Lewis, Hilaya Lewis, Justin Dixon, Sara Gonzalez, and Emma Gonzalez.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Bradley Oglesby, and son, Walter Ivey Smith Jr.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
