Mark Seiler

Mark Seiler, 67, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at his home.

Mark was born on November 19, 1957, in Perrysburg, Ohio, to the late David and Bonnie Seiler. He developed a lifelong passion for sports, outdoors, and service. He played high school football in Perrysburg. Following his graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he became a respected drill instructor, shaping and mentoring young recruits. After his military service, he continued his dedication to public service, working in civil service for a combined 30 years.

Mark was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and the open road on his motorcycle. His love of sports extended into coaching and refereeing, where he continued to support young athletes with wisdom and encouragement. 

Mark will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends whose lives he touched.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his son, David Seiler of Havelock, NC; and brothers, Jay Seiler (Margaret) of Florida, and Paul Seiler of Texas.
