Marilee Stewart Ward, 83, of Cedar Point, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Carteret Health Care.
The family will have a private gathering.
She is survived by her son, Christian Ward; daughter, Cissy Ward Bourzikos; two grandchildren, Mikayla J. Ward and Vasilis Bourzikos; and two well-loved cousins, Margaret and Ronald.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. C.Macaulay Ward, Sr.; and parents, Robert and Edna Stewart.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Carteret County Public School Foundation, “Pushing For P.E.”, 107 Safrit Drive, Beaufort, NC 28516.
