Maria Baker Golden, 54, of Beaufort, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at home surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 Wednesday at Woodville Baptist Church with Rev. Terry McInnis officiating.
Maria was employed as a cashier with the Piggly Wiggly store in Beaufort.
She is survived by her husband HB Golden of Beaufort: a daughter Samantha Salter and husband Nick of Beaufort: a son Carl Wesley Fowler of Beaufort: three grandchildren: several nieces and nephews: and a sister Carolyn Wilson of Robertsdale, AL.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles Baker, mother Willie Fahr, and sister Veronica Orona.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society Inc. PO Box 357 Newport, NC 28570.
