Margaret Herring Harper Robinson, 91, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. James “Winkie” Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service.
Margaret loved flowers and tending to her garden. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and cooking for her family. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Christine Jones, Marlene Dunkle and husband Frankie, and Patricia Beck; sons, Ray Harper, Frank Harper and wife Tammi, and Roger Harper and wife Margaret; 16 grandchildren; and 47 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leroy Harper; husbands, Frank Robinson and Eric Harper; parents, Henry and Queenie (Thomas) Herring; brothers, Bruce Herring, Jessie Herring, James Herring, Amos Herring, and Charles Herring; sister, Eula Mae Herring; and one grandchild.
