Manly Morton

Manly Earl Morton, Sr., 77, of Broad Creek, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Carteret General Hospital.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Ball officiating.
He is survived by two sons, Manly Earl Morton, Jr. and wife Donna of Beaufort and David W. Morton and wife Dawn of Bear Creek; four grandchildren, Leslie M. Garris and husband Ken of Pittsboro, Derreck Wayne Morton and wife Tiffany of Beaufort, Dane Morton of Charlotte, and Dylan Morton of Bear Creek; three sisters, Janice Gulledge of Ocean, Sandra Jones of Newport, and Joann Adams of Broad Creek; special niece, Kay Phillimeano; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Drew Morton, and two sisters, Edith Martine and Velna Golden.
The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
