Mac Perry

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Freddie Braswell officiating.
Mac served in the U. S. Navy and was a teacher at Southern High School in Durham, NC. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Durham and a current member of Emerald Isle Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Bency Perry; daughter Diana P. Evans and husband Brad of Charleston, SC; sons, Chris Perry of Martinsville, VA and John Perry and wife Liz of Cape Carteret, NC; six grandchildren, Brandon Evans, Bryan Evans, Beth Perry, Dan Perry, Jonathan Perry, and Katharine Perry; and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Evans and Ella Evans.
The family will receive friends following the service at the family home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Medical University of South Carolina Childrens Hospital, 171 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403.
