Lynn Tew

Lynn Tew, 64, of Morehead City, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
He was a volunteer with the Bunn Fire Department for over 30 years and was instrumental in getting EMS started in Bunn. He was the head trustee for Bunn United Methodist Church for many years, a carpenter and electrical contractor, and as a hobby he was an artist and builder, and a certified scuba diver who loved the ocean. He was a gift to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Fran Tew of the home; daughter, Holly Tew of Apex; son; Jason Tew of Bunn; two step-sons, James Love of Havelock and Jon Love of Emerald Isle; brother, Gene Tew of Clayton; five grandchildren; also many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Candy Tew, brother, Phil Tew and his parents, Gilbert and Vivian Tew.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
