Luellen Bell Taylor, 84, of Bogue, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Nichols and Rev. Jr. Brisson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She was a homemaker, gardener, cook, and lover of outside. She was also a substitute teacher at White Oak Elementary School, and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Cleo Taylor Braxton of the home and Gwynn Taylor Russell and husband Glenn of Bogue; son, Ricky Glenn Taylor and wife Nancy of Bogue; six grandchildren, Pamela Spencer of Wilmington, Amanda Panzarella and husband Michael of Bogue, Noah Simpson and wife Charli of Morehead City, Sam Simpson of Beaufort, Joy Taylor of Bogue, and Hunter Taylor of Bogue; three great-grandchildren, Justin Spencer, Jack Simpson and Michaela Panzarella; also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Junius and Bessie Cannon Bell, husband, Glenn Ward Taylor, two sisters, Maggie Lewis and Jessie Murdoch, and brother, John J. Bell.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday ay Munden Funeral Home.
