Lucille J. Waller

Lucille J. Waller, 82, of Newport, passed away Thursday, November 8­, 2018, at Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

There will be a Funeral Mass held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Annunciation Catholic Church, officiated by Father William Upah.

Lucille lived most of her life in New York until she and her husband moved to South Carolina to retire and be near the water. In more recent years she moved to Eastern NC, after her husband’s passing, to be closer to family. Lucille was a very social and loving lady who enjoyed entertaining and opening her home to visiting family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert “Bob” Waller and wife, Catherine of Fishkill, NY, William “Bill” Waller and wife, Judith, of Havelock and Mark Waller and wife, Cynthia, of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Alice Shurace of Hudson, FL; brother, Paul Parrella and wife, Lorie, of Arizona; grandchildren, Christine, William, Nicki and Kristopher; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Orrin, William, Kayden and Arya; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Waller; parents, Harry and Eleanor Parrella; and sister, Carol Ray.
