Lucille Ellen Murphy, 84, of Davis, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Davis First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Keith Wall and Rev. Ed Renfrow. Interment will follow at Murphy Cemetery in Davis.
Lucille was a member of Davis First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Robert V. Murphy and wife, Kathy of Lusby, MD, Jeffrey W. Murphy and wife Julie of Chesapeake Beach, MD; step-daughter, Brenda L. Murphy of Davis, NC; step-son, Timothy S. Murphy and wife, Holly of Brookeville, MD; sisters, Anna Nelson of Coffman, TX, Carrie Starr of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Charles M. Willis III, Michael W. Murphy and wife, Laura, Brandi M. Hogan and husband, Lee, Ryan P. Murphy, Chelsey N. Murphy, Shawn R. Murphy, Nicole M. Murphy, Brianna P. Murphy; great grandchildren, Madison Taylor, Robert E. Murphy, Alyssa L. Hogan, Gavin David Hogan; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband of 43 years, Frances Wayne Murphy.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Davis First Baptist Church.
