Lucette S. Dail, 69, of Newport, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Friday, April 30, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
Mrs. Dail was born and raised in St. Nazaire, France. She attended St. Egbert's Catholic Church. She was a home health care nurse who gave love and care for many who could not leave their homes, just like she did for all of her family and friends. She poured all her love into us all with her unique and special touches. Her devotion of time, talents of sewing, needlepoint, art. kind words and always being there. Though she suffered much, it never stopped her from seizing the moment to show her love.
Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Chadwick and Father Doug Smiley officiating.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William "Bill" Dail; daughters, Valarie Hodge and husband Reginald of Mesa, AZ and Geraldine Dail of Franklin, NC; brother, Alain Fablet of Montreal, Canada; sisters, Vivian LeFranc of St. Nazaire, France, Sylvie Waltz of St. Nazaire, France, Bridgette Waltz of Marseille, France , Maryvonne Chapalain of Venice, Austria and Lydie Waltz of Venice, Austria; grandchildren, Christopher Hodge Dail, Brittany S. Hodge Dail and Savanah Dail and three great-grandchildren, Malikai Hodge, Laila Hodge and Nycal Blaylark; sister-in-law, Marsha Oglesby; nieces, Caroline Dixon and husband Phillip, Anna Oglesby and Maylee Oglesby and great nieces, Beth and Tammy Dixon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien Fablet and Suzanne Champalain.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Munden
