Louise McKamey

Louise McKamey, 94, of Broad Creek, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at her residence.

Services will be held 1:00 pm Monday at Broad Creek Church of God with Rev. Daylon Mooneyhan and Rev. Wes Holmes offciaiting. Interment will follow at Broad Creek Community Cemetery.

She was a member of the Broad Creek Church of God and the Homemakers Extension Club.

Mrs. McKamey is survived by two sons, Lon McKamey and wife, Sharon of Charlotte Hall, MD, and Roger Paul McKamey of Broad Creek; daughter, Diana McKamey of Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers, Roger Jones of Broad Creek, and Don Jones of St. Louis, MO; three sisters, Gwendolyn Dodson  of Virginia Beach, VA, Violet Tyndall of Dallas, TX and Etta "Teen" Hewitt of Broad Creek; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Tex" McKamey and two brothers, Lamar Jones and Timothy Jones.

The family will recieve friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
